Hi! I'm Dr. Kiera Smialek, a pediatric naturopathic doctor. I am an expert in the field of naturopathic pediatrics and have been treating children for over 14 years. I am currently the only practicing board certified naturopathic pediatrician in the state of Arizona. I created Natural Kid Doc in 2016 after realizing there wasn't enough support for parents looking for more natural options for their children. The practice has grown immensely over the years and I hope to continue to train more naturopathic doctors in pediatrics to provide more options for parents in the Phoenix valley.
I am also a wife and a mother to a spunky, dance-loving 9yo girl and a cuddly 10lb miniature poodle. I truly became a better doctor when I became a mother. My daughter has taught me so much over the years. I also suffered from postpartum depression and felt very alone. It is from my experience that I have also become passionate about supporting mothers during postpartum in addition to caring for their baby. It really does take a village and I love to be a part of that village for my families.
