What We Do Differently

The biggest thing we do differently? We listen.

We don't rush appointments. We don't interrupt. We don't tell parents what they have to do. Instead, we take real time with you, 60 to 90 minutes for new patients and 30 to 45 minutes for follow-ups, so we can actually get to know your child, understand what's going on at home, and answer the questions you came in with.

Every kid is different, so we treat every plan that way too. We build personalized care around your child's needs, your family's values, and what feels right to you as a parent. Our job is to guide and support, not to dictate.

We also know parents today are drowning in conflicting information. It's exhausting just trying to keep up. So our job is to help you sort through the noise, give you real, educated answers, and support whatever decision you land on, even when it's not the one we'd make ourselves.

Who We Work Best With

Our families tend to be health-conscious and proactive. They ask questions and want real answers, not a brushoff. A lot of them come to us frustrated with conventional pediatrics: the rushed visits, the feeling of not being heard, the pressure to medicate or intervene before anyone's even talked through the alternatives.

They're looking for a partner, not just a prescription pad. Someone who treats them like the capable, informed parents they are, not an obstacle to work around.

What You Can Expect

You can expect us to support you no matter what you decide. We won't push you into anything, and we won't judge you for your choices. We'll give you the information you need, respect your instincts, and trust you to do what's right for your child.

You can also expect a warm, calm environment. Parents often tell us the office feels clean and peaceful, that the time they spend with us feels unhurried and thorough, and that they leave feeling empowered instead of anxious.

Trust like that doesn't happen overnight, and we've built this practice with that in mind. We're here for the long haul: the late-night questions, the big milestones, the random illnesses, and the regular wellness visits in between.

A Little About Me

I founded Natural Kid Doc in 2016 because I wanted to build something Arizona didn't have yet: a naturopathic pediatric clinic where families could get comprehensive, holistic care in a space that actually felt welcoming.

Becoming a mother made me a better doctor. My daughter has taught me more than medical school ever did, and going through postpartum depression myself showed me just how isolating early parenthood can feel. That experience is a big part of why I care so much about being part of the village for our families, not just for the kids, but for the parents too.

I'm also passionate about training the next generation of naturopathic pediatricians. We've brought on additional doctors who share our philosophy and approach, and we serve as a training site for medical students and other providers who want to learn more about naturopathic pediatrics.
