What We Do Differently

The biggest thing we do differently is listen.

We don't rush appointments. We don't interrupt. We don't tell parents what they have to do. Instead, we spend real time—60 to 90 minutes for new patients, 30 to 45 minutes for follow-ups—getting to know your child, understanding what's happening at home, and answering the questions you actually have.

Every child is different, and we treat them that way. We create personalized plans based on your child's unique needs, your family's values, and what feels right to you as a parent. We're here to guide and support, not to dictate.

We also recognize that parents today are dealing with an overwhelming amount of conflicting information. It's exhausting. Our job is to help you sort through it, give you educated answers, and support whatever decision you ultimately make—even if it's not the one we'd choose for ourselves.

Our families tend to be health-conscious and proactive. They have questions and want real answers, not brushoffs. They're often frustrated with conventional pediatrics—the short visits, the feeling of not being heard, the pressure to medicate or intervene without exploring other options first.

They want a partnership, not a prescription pad. They want someone who sees them as capable, informed parents, not obstacles to get around.

What You Can Expect

You can expect us to support you, no matter what decision you make. We won't force you into anything. We won't judge you. We'll give you the information you need, respect your instincts, and trust you to do what's best for your child.

You can also expect a warm, calm environment. Parents often tell us the office feels clean and peaceful, that the time they get with us feels thorough and unhurried, and that they leave feeling empowered instead of anxious.

We've built a practice on trust, and that takes time. We're here for the long haul—through the late-night questions, the developmental milestones, the illnesses that come up, and the wellness visits in between.

A Little About Me

I founded Natural Kid Doc in 2016 with a vision to create something that didn't exist in Arizona—a naturopathic pediatric clinic where families could get comprehensive, holistic care in an environment that felt welcoming and supportive.

Being a mother myself has made me a better doctor. My daughter has taught me more than I ever learned in medical school, and my own experience with postpartum depression showed me how isolating early parenthood can be. That's why I'm so committed to being part of the village for our families—not just for the kids, but for the parents too.

I'm also passionate about training the next generation of naturopathic pediatricians. We've brought on additional doctors who share the same philosophy and approach, and we serve as a training site for medical students and other providers interested in learning more about naturopathic pediatrics.
